Nepeta’s voice is much easier for me to do, but I look forward to the challenge that Meulin offers me.

^ Best Nepeta AND Meulin ever?

Seriously, I normally just don’t like voice acting for Homestuck because usually the voices are just awk. They don’t match the characters most of the time, and they just make them sound annoying and ruin the character for me. But not only does the voice match the character here, but the personality is pretty damn accurate too. Meulin is obviously inspired by your typical, fanatical Tumblr girl, as you can tell from the dialogue (scene from Openbound), but I feel like some voice actors would probably do it too over-the-top, and make her annoying. This balanced it perfectly. Just the right emphasis on a playful personality and excitability, the subtle cat puns… It’s just perfect.
